BRAND Liquid Handling Station
Enhance productivity with BRAND Liquid Handling Station
BRAND Liquid Handling Station (LHS), a small and compact bench-top robotic pipetting system bridges the gap between manual single- and multi-channel pipettes and complex large devices.
The BRAND Liquid Handling Station (LHS) automates pipetting tasks for a variety of vessels, including reservoirs, tubes, and 96- and 384-well plates. Useful for routine pipetting tasks, experiments with complex pipetting patterns, and assays where speedy mixing is key, researchers can integrate this compact instrument into their existing laboratory spaces and workflows.
BRAND LHS has seven work positions and six liquid-handling ends, which scientists can easily fit with different single- or multi-channel pipette heads. Researchers can equip it with various accessories, including heated shakers and cooling blocks, to meet different experimental needs. The LHS software guides users through method creation and worktable setup. Researchers can program a simulated protocol before the actual run and receive email and sound notifications during the process.
BRAND LHS is ideal for confined areas as full system comes with a 60 x 49 cm footprint and only 69 cm of vertical clearance required.
Its compact design and space-saving front door make it an ideal fit where benchtop space is limited. Designed to perform efficient, accurate pipetting movements, while minimizing the risk of drip contamination with easy switching of the liquid ends-no tools required.
Automated liquid handling drive efficiency & consistency in Next-Generation Sequencing
Next-generation sequencing (NGS) based high-quality genomic data continues to become a more important technique that is helping us to understand in research and diagnostic settings.Manually pipetting into 384-well plates when setting up sequencing experiments is tedious, exhausting, and time-consuming. Additionally, physically moving plates between various stations might expose the sample to contamination & introduce opportunities for human error.
While normalization and pooling in libraries for sequencing (e.g Sanger sequencing or NGS), the BRAND LHS processes your pipetting jobs, you have time for other tasks. The Liquid Handling Station works quietly and can be easily adjusted to handle all applicable work steps, with no programming knowledge required. If the data is already available in a spreadsheet, creating methods is even easier with the import function. Particularly for small and midsized sample volumes, the robot, which operates on the proven air-interface principle, is a cost-effective introduction to laboratory automation. With its all-in-one capabilities, compact design, and innovative software, BRAND Liquid Handling station offers an ideal solution for improving productivity in genomics laboratories
